Piera PalazzoloVP, Digital Marketing,

    Ms. Piera Palazzolo is Vice President of Digital Marketing for the American Management Association (AMA). In that capacity, she oversees the website, SEM and SEO and is responsible for driving revenue through digital channels.

    Prior to AMA, Piera was SVP of Marketing for Dale Carnegie. She joined the company in 1993 and was elected to the Senior Leadership Team in 2002, becoming the firm’s first (non-family) woman senior executive.

    Previously Piera was VP of Account Services at J. Walter Thompson.  During her tenure at JWT, she oversaw both BtoC and BtoB accounts.  While at JWT, she helped launch Prodigy—a pioneering online services venture. She serviced a variety of clients including GE Capital and Ford Motor Company.

    Piera has extensive experience in digital/social marketing, app development, and all aspects of direct response. She has published an e-book for ExecSense on content marketing titled Why and How Audience Engagement Works. She often offers workplace advice to major media publications including MarketWatch/WSJ.

    Piera graduated from the Universita’ di Palermo, cum laude. She is committed to the promotion of Italian language and culture and is a trustee at La Scuola d’Italia in NYC and at the Italian American Committee on Education (IACE). She resides in Manhattan with her husband and their three children.
